On Wednesday the 2nd of November, the Moroccan organization for sports journalists held a press conference to introduce the motorsports-racing driver Michael benyahia, and address the difficulties stopping him from launching his career here in morocco.

In 2017, Michael signed with the French racing team ‘Race GP’ and won the 2017 Formula Renault FR 2.0 NEC championship becoming by that the first driver from the MENA region to win such a prize. In 2017, he joined the Venturi E team for the 2018 season as a test driver.

Later in 2018, he participated in his first-ever Formula E rookie test. The test took place at Moulay El Hassan international circuit in Marrakech.
